Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
Meadow Lake Airport Association, Inc., owner of the Meadow Lake Airport, has an established Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26. The Airport is a recipient of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant funding. As a condition of receiving this assistance, the Airport has signed an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.
The DBE Program's intent is to provide a level playing field for DBE companies wanting to do business with the Airport, and other agencies receiving Federal funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Limited English Proficiency and Environmental Justice
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (42 U.S.C. 2000d) prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin. Title 49 of the U.S.C. section 47123, "Nondiscrimination" further prohibits recipients of FAA financial assistance from engaging in discrimination based on sex and religion. Additionally, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended (42 U.S.C. Section 6101 et seq.) prohibits discrimination against FAA program beneficiaries on the grounds of age.
